I always like it when a local band gets a shot at opening up a gig as hotly anticipated as tonight. It gives them some extra exposure and also gives them a chance to impress a crowd who may be more used to their music coming over from America rather than their home town. It was with this in mind that I was looking forward to seeing ‘Final Round… Fight!’ for the first time. Order Doxycycline Screeching is an understatement and the singer thrashed about wildly and with some gusto. Levitra generico The music was executed with as much aggression as the vocals but if points were given for enthusiasm then they’d get a perfect 10. Local scene stalwarts ‘Attack! Vipers!’ were the second band on, and the first to draw a sizeable crowd. And they proceeded to give both ‘Final Round… Fight’ and an increasingly full Wedgewood Rooms a lesson in how to play blistering, passionate, hardcore. Singer Joe Watson spent most of the set Cheap Levitra onlineBuy Viagra Professional Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed in the crowd, with those at the front singing every word back to him with their fists in the air. With a new record due to be released later this year it seemed a strange choice for the band to announce that this would be their last gig for quite a while, but that is what they did. If anything that announcement proceeded only to bring more emotion and passion into their set rather than dampening the mood. Hot Water Music are one of those bands who are much loved and very highly regarded within their scene, but whose name often draws blank looks when mentioned to friends and family. Despite tonight being one of only a handful of UK dates announced and their first time here for five or six years, the Wedgewood Rooms was never more than two thirds full. Levitra reviews Still, those who came along knew exactly what to expect and they weren’t to be disappointed. Opening with a storming rendition of ‘Remedy’ they didn’t let the pace drop at all the first few songs. Zithromax pharmacy ‘Free Radio Gainesville’ made a very welcome appearance, with it’s instantly recognisable bass line opening beingĀ greeted by raptuous appreciation from the crowd.
Favourites such as ‘Jack Of All Trades’ and ‘Poison’ both appeared in a set largely taken from their two best albums ‘Caution’ and ‘A Flight And A Crash’, but also including lesser known, older tracks, whilst ‘Paper Thin’ became a mass sing-along and a highlight of the set. Hot Water Music have never struck me as a band who feel the need to indulge in an encore, but tonight they did, closing with a couple of cover versions, including ‘True Believers’ by ‘The Bouncing Souls’. That they didn’t end up with or even play the brilliant ‘Choked And Separated’ Brand Levitra Online was the only downside to what was an otherwise brilliant set.
